01Friction map
Three things to fix first
Ranked the same way every paid audit ranks issues — by what a stranger notices first.
Proof — 0/10
No testimonials, customer names, download/star counts, or press mentions anywhere on the page.
Fix: Add a live GitHub star/download counter and 2–3 named user quotes (name + role) under the hero or above “Ways to use Ledge.”
Promise — 8/10
“Write a note, press ⌘↩on a code block, and its output streams in beneath it.” — concrete mechanism but never quantified, a workflow description, not a measurable result.
Fix: Add one measurable line near the hero, e.g. “Get a query's result without leaving the note, no context switch.”
Objections — 8/10
“No account, no service, and no port to open.” — price, license and platform objections are answered near the CTA, but nothing addresses team/multi-user conflicts or data portability if you stop using Ledge.
Fix: Add a 3–4 item FAQ above the footer covering team use and what happens to your notes if you leave.
